Sri Nataraja Ganapatigal was born at Vilathur as the son of Sri Balasubramania lyer and Smt Seethalakshmi ammal in the year 1932. He was an excellent student of Vaiga Nallore Smt Saraswathi Ammal Patashala, Kulithalai where he studied Kramantham and Ghanantham. He has been an examiner for the Vedic examinations conducted by various institutions at Mysore, Tirupathi, Calcutta, Rameswaram and Kumbakonam. Sri Maha Periyava of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, recognizing his expertise had invited him many times for Parayanam. He was responsible for carrying out Shukla Yajur Veda parayanam in 'Tirupathi and 'Tirumala Devasthanam for many years. ln recognition of his services he is being awarded the title of Shukla Yajur Veda Ratnam.
5. Brahmashri P.R. Subramania Sastrigal
Sri P.R. Subramania Sastrigal was born at Putthagaram, Thiruvarur as the son of Brahma Sri Ramaswamy Sastrigal (famous Astrologer) and hails from an illustrious Veda Parampara. He is presently 80 years old. He learnt Vedas from Sri Gopala Ganapatigal of Sedanipuram and was initiated into Sri Vidhya Upasana by Sri Yoganandanathar (Sri Kunchitapatha lyer, lnjikollai). He was instrumental in initiating Kuthu Wakku pooja at Yajnavalkya Sabha and has participated in various activities. Under his directions, the Gayatri Homam is being conducted at the Sabha every month with the target to complete one Crore Avenue. He has a lot of Sri Vidhya disciples and is an expert in conducting Chandi Homam and Sri Vidhya disciples Sri Vidhya Maha Yagnam. His services are being recognized by awarding him the title of Sri Vidhya Upasaka Ratnam.
6. Sri A.V.Krishnamurthy
Son of Sri A.V. Venkatarama lyer, Professor of History, Presidency College, Madras Sri A.V. Krlshnamurthy is a double graduate in Chemistry and Agriculture. Has carried out research projects in sugar cane served the illustrious institution of Agricultural College at Coimbatore and has been a consultant to E.l.D.Parry. His association with our Sabha dates to the days of Sri E.R. Krishnamurthy when he joined as an ordinary member, but his services were extraordinary as he has gone on door-to-door collection for the funds under the difficult days and built the present Sabha premises brick by brick! His untiring efforts were recognized by the Sabha as he rose to the position of Vice President. He has laid a solid foundation for our institution. He is being awarded the title of Yajnavalkya Seva Ratnam today.
